A little about me.

I’m Eric, a software developer and entrepreneur based in Vail, Colorado.

My path here has taken a few turns. I was born in Iowa, grew up in the Netherlands, and studied business at the University of Vermont. After college, I headed west and spent five years in the golf industry before finding my way into startups and software.

These days, I’m the CEO/founder over at Playbooks, an AI-native platform that brings chats, agents, and projects together to help people build and run a business.

On the side, I work with business owners who are starting something new or trying to get their existing systems working better. I like getting into the details: how the business runs, where things get stuck, and what we can build or connect to help.

My background in software and entrepreneurship helps me move between those conversations and the work itself. Sometimes that means building an application. Other times, it means choosing a better tool or connecting the ones already in place.

Beyond the screen, you’ll find me spending time with family, on the mountain, in the gym, or exploring new ideas. 🚀
